This will be our first time to build a home. What can we expect?
Our trained sales counselors will be with you every step of the way. After choosing a homesite and floor plan, we will go over the process in more specific detail. But, in general, you can expect to be guided through the entire construction process (including the mortgage lending stage). Early in the process you will be introduced to your construction superintendent. He/She will be a vital part of this journey and will provide a new homeowner orientation prior to closing.
How long will it take to build a new home?
There are several factors that go into calculating the construction time for new homes. Once the home has been permitted, you can expect approximately 4 to 5 months. However, it is impossible to predict such things as weather, trade and material shortages, and material backorders. We will always do our best to build a quality home within the most reasonable time period. Our homebuyers are kept up to date on the construction process throughout this journey.
Do you work with realtors?
Absolutely. Realtors have been a wonderful part of our process.
Does the home come with a warranty?
Our homes come with a 1 year standard builder warranty. Upon closing, you will also receive a two through ten year structural warranty information for the policy that comes with your home. The booklet you receive will detail the specifics to the program, along with contact information.
Can we customize our home?
Yes! Homebuyers are encouraged to visit our design center early in the process. The design consultants have full access to our offerings.
